the engine stops nissan cube 2008 when i turn on the ari conditioning unit...why?

Years ago in older cars this would happen , all that was needed was to raise the RPM of the car ...The air conditioner you'll notice will cut the engine power down ,if you have a RPM guage in your car look how the RPM drops when you turn on the air conditioning ( compressor )..
