Was wondering if anyone knew if on a ford focus if
a 2000 and 2003 focus struts are same size and
can be used on each other?

I wouldn't swap struts with one car or another. They are only good for 60-80K. Just buy new and replace in pairs. Then get an alignment.

Would you need a alignment ?

I just need the spring from the strut because it's cracked on mine I was would woudering if I could just take that
