I just bought a 2000 ford Explorer off of someone and
everything was good with it for a few days but now when I
put it into reverse it will slowly go backwards but when I try
to accelerate it doesn't move

These have weak transmission's and so far no-one has came up with the perfect fix.

Its a design flaw in the trans.

I would look for adaptor to install a Chevy trans.

Yea. Number 1 sign the trans has bit the dust.
