Explorer 2000, loses power when heats

Asked by jules_night Oct 27, 2014 at 07:51 PM about the 2000 Ford Explorer

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000, 4.0L SOHC Explorer loses power when braking,
I push the accelerator but no power only vibration.
The issue seems to be solved when the car cools down then accelerating in neutral to 3000 rpm then quickly put gear
Any advice?
