About 3 gallon,s to fill it,but you only need one gallon of anti freeze to add to this.
I presume you have the 4.6 engine so it takes about 12 quarts and use a 50/50 mixture of anti-freeze. This is the preferred mixture by Ford and Anti-Freeze companies

Had a leak in a hose. Had it repaired. I loose a gallon a anti-freeze every 150 miles? There is milky foam on the inside of the oil cap, but the dip stick is clean.
