1994 dodge Dakota engine shut off
Could be an electrical problem: weak spark from bad coil or the ECU. Could be a fuel problem: failing pump, clogged fuel filter, dirty injectors. If you have warning lights, go to an auto parts store to get them read, probably free.
I have replaced coil, crank shaft, cam, OT, Map, mass air, throttle position sensors, radiator hose, ECM and vacuum line, timing chain, gears and water pump. Cranks good, runs smooth for about 20 minuites, gets to normal temperature it begins sputering and dies. At this time depressing gas does no good. Has no warning lights.
