Did Ford put an SVO engine in a 79 Fairmont?

I have purchased a 79 Fairmont with what appears to be an original SVO twin tube breather
set up on it. If it was added on after someone has done a very nice job of making it look
factory. Breather tubes exit out each side and all the way to the front, just like the Mustang. I
have not been able to find any information to confirm this. Any help is appreciated.

To add to the question,the fairmont also appears to be an ex police car, still has the two spotlights and two antennas,one front, one back. Used to be light blue with blue interior. knylee
