where is the noise in the back of the vechicle coming from?????

we have a noise in the back of the car wheb we go over a bump.  have changed shocks and put in new bolts...Can figure where the noise is from ...check tail pipe, front wheel drive...checked brakes and tires...suspension bar is fine...what could it be??????

This could be many things and we don't have the actual sound that you're hearing for a reference. Here are a few more ideas to look for. -Check fuel tank straps (when tank is empty) haven't loosened. -Check rear door hinges and fastener. -Check rear wheels for wobble or extra axle play. -Check tie rod ends/linkage (if sway bar present). -Check brake lines to rear of vehicle. -Check spare tire assembly and fastner. -Check for extra play in the rear leaf springs.
