Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My question refers to dodge stratus transmissions. I need to know if you can sucessfully take a 98 stratus tranny and put it into a 01 stratus tranny. i know you would probably need to splice a few wires but would it bolt on the same??

Hi deaconfrost2333, In most cases, as long as both vehicles are the same "model year" (meaning that they are the same body style or drivetrain) you should have no trouble swapping the transmission. However, if they do cross "model years" it may still be possible, but may run into some issues (sometimes insurmountable). Good luck!
