engine light on but no loss of power

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Check engine light came on my E60 520 D brought to my mechanic,at first
thought it was DPF but checked EGR valve.It along with manifold was gunked
up with crap, cleaned and refitted,drove for 50km and engine light back OBD
says DPF OK any thoughts?
