Question type: General

My neon I think has had an engine swap how can you tell what year and type of engine that's in my car.  It says DOHC 16 valve, I know that doesn't help much.  any help would be much appreciated.

look for the vin on the block and the block stamping marks and that should tell you everything you need to know about that engine.
