Hard Starting when cold

I have a 2001 Dodge Durango, 4.7 when first staring the vehicle for the day it takes a lot of cranking but it fires up and runs Great, once the Truck is shut down for a length of time same issue, thought it was the fuel pump so I replaced it and I have the same issue, any suggestions?

You will need to check the fuel pump pressure when the car is cold....

I did put a new fuel pump in the vehicle, if the fuel pressure is low could it be bad fuel pump or something else?
