Question type: Car Customization

Hello, I have been looking for a leveling kit for this truck and its impossible to find one. I have looked everywhere and even had friends look for me. I want to do a P/A 3 inch body lift, but I think it will look stupid if my truck itsn't leveled. Im just looking for the offroad look for my truck. Not really much of an offroader. Please help me out Thank you.

all you need to do is get taller springs for the front and 3 inch blocks for the rear, avalable at any parts store.

NO you can do the rear yourself, but you will want a mechanic to swap out front springs,if you have never don this DONT TRY.you have to have a spring compressor to colapse the springs, this is a dangerious job,as for the rear, jack it up by the rearend put jack stands under both sides leave jack in placeunbolt u joints on each side of rearend, let jack down just enought for it rearend to sit on leaf springs, remove old u joints place the 3 inch blocks on top of rear, should be a round knob on top of it,make sure the hole in block is in knob on rear put new u joints on bolt on tight use air gun,do other side you done.

Yeah sounds like I should just have a mechanic do it. One more question, how do you know which coil springs are going to give your truck that extra 2 inches or so in the front? I looked online and it just looks like a lot of replacement coils? Do I need a certain brand like MOOGS? Please let me know ASAP thanks.

just tell them you want a set 3 inches above stock, your local independent parts store will be more helpfull than auto zone or advance auto.

Either rent some tools if your mechanicaly smart or have a mechanic do it. If you do the rear torque the bolts to spec. nut if you lift the back it wont be level with the front.
