Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Van won't start. No lights on dash, no turning over.
We tried to give it a jump, no change. We tried

Sounds like you have a 'short to ground'. A power wire that is grounded to the body of the car. Try wiggling and or checking the battery terminals first. are the corroded? The problem can be hard to find even with the proper equipment. so time to have it towed to your nearest garage.
