bought a 04 engine to replace a 02 but  the engine ould not start also it back fire but everything is in place

Something is obviously not hooked up right, or there is a problem with the '04 engine. Need more info to diagnose this. I'd suggest taking it to a mechanic.

is the ground hooked up to the engine and not grounding through the cv shafts as well as wheelbearings
