Brake taillight not turning off.

Asked by Christygalan Jun 20, 2013 at 10:02 PM about the 2002 Dodge Durango

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Came home and noticed my drivers side brake light and brake light on back windshield
was on. Can not figure out how to get them to turn off. Has anyone had this problem
before on a 2002 dodge Durango?

Brake light switch could be out of adjustment. Try pulling up on brake pedal.

This truck has an adjustable brake sw and a small rubber plug that pushes the plunger on switch at the top of pedal. If rubber plug is missing theres your problem replace rubber plug.reset plunger depth.
