The truck starts but right after it starts or I let off the gas it dies why?

I have a 2002 dodge dakota with the 5.9 360. I replaced the alternator and battery has full charge. Just confused on
what it could be.

by your passenger fender under the hood there are wires there check them to see if there corroded
