Car thermastat went all the way to h and wont start

My dodge caravan over heated while i was
driving acording to the thermastat. I turned
of the ac and thermastat lowered i drove
another block home . Went back out half hr
later and it would not turn on opened the
hood saw no liquid bubbles or smoke

Hate to say but you might have locked this engine up due to overheating. Once it cools down remove radiator cap and see if any coolant is in it. Also check your oil. Does it look like a milkshake?
