why is the airbag light on after washing my vehicle

I washed my vehicle the other day to start it up and my air bag light is on. We disconnected the battery and that didn't do anything....but a couple of times it has gone out. Am i able to fix the light or sensor without spending a fortune on having it scanned??

Check out the news feed... sounds like you issue. We had the same issue a couple of years back with a 2005 model. Two sensors needed to be replaced
