Do you have interior lamp dimmer, if so, turn it the other way, see if dash lamps come back? In the diagram, on the right, see the bulb that says instrument cluster. The top wire is voltage, the bottom wire is ground. The headlamp switch tells the bcm what is going on and the bcm sends voltage for bulb. I did find a tsb for instrument panel illumination. It involves reprogramming the bcm, if that is the problem, I can't help you with programming, talk to your local dealership. The bulletin is 08-006-04, bbbind com has free service bulletins and wiring diagrams, Hopefully you can read the bulletin, there. As far as the bulletin, I don't know if that is the problem?
