I have a 98 gmc sierra c1500 with 4.3
when i drive about 5 or so miles the truck
loses power my blinker lights on dash
start fadding away and then the the truck
will shut off and wont start for about an
hour or so and my lights on dash like
blinkers and air bag light will be glitching
out flikering

Sounds like the truck is loosing voltage. Have the battery charged and tested, inspect all battery connections for corrosion, clean them and make sure they are tight. Check and clean the battery connection at the starter. Also have the alternator tested at a local O'reilly Auto Parts store or similar. This is a free service.
