Truck has no power and won't shift into fourth

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

When I try to accelerate in drive or overdrive, and
sometimes in 1 or 2 the truck doesn't want to
accelerate. It won't even go up in rpm with the
pedal on the floor. It won't go past 2500 rpm while
accelerating unless I keep it in gear 1 or 2. After I
shift into drive or overdrive it won't go past about
2200 rpm and won't shift into fourth
gear/overdrive. The trans (4l60e) was rebuilt about
5 years ago and has had about 20000 miles put on
it since then. The engine idles perfectly fine in park
and neutral and will also rev up normally. I was
thinking it is possible the trans that is going bad or
the torque converter, but the fluid is pink and
doesn't have a burnt smell to it. Any suggestions of
what I should check?
