1992 gmc sierra 1500 acceleration problems

Okay so i have a 1992 Gmc sierra 1500. and i just got it running it idles great. but for
some reason when i put the pedal down about half way it dies like it is starving for fuel any
ideas?

It can be the catalyst that it could be blocking air our or just super dirty ,, my dad had the same issue and put a straight pipe on his 1994 gmc sierra 1500 v8

yeah i actually cut it out today and nothing gotta be some type of fuel delivery problem

check for codes? the tps can do this, it will usually throw a code but can be checked with a volt/ohm meter

fuel filter has been changed. Also should i just go ahead and replace the Tps sensor?
