I have a 1990 GMC sierra which has a 350 engine and a throttle body carb. It idles and runs like a champ..Trouble is starting it.

some days it will not start. give it a shot of starter fluid and it usually starts. then
again some days that won't do it. When that happens I found that I was getting
no spark. Once it does start it will start all day without fail. I can hear the pump
working when I turn the key, thinkin I may have 2 different problems. anyone
know what it could be?
