82 chevy c20 starts won't stay on

I'm working on a 82 chevy c20, recently have done
all spark plugs, spark plug wires,  distributor cap,
starter, alternator, alternator plug, battery, and the
truck starts runs for awhile then dies. We have left
it in idle when we start trying to drive it it dies
quickly. Also battery is being draind and will not
keep a charge.
