Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I replaced my electronic ignition switch and neutral
safety switch in my 1978 chevy c20 and when I
turn my key I gotta turn it almost to start position
to bring power to the cab of the truck and
everything turns out on in the cab but it won't crank
or make aby engine sound when I try to actually
start it.  Why? What do I need to do? Please help

Sounds like the ignition switch needs to be adjusted. Sounds like the rod that goes into the ignition switch is running out of travel.
