1980 c10

Asked by Truckerguy1980 Mar 28, 2017 at 08:56 PM about the 1980 Chevrolet C/K 10

Question type: General

My 1980 c10 a couple weeks ago would just all of a
sudden spit and sputter going down the road but
idle fine. I replaced the ignition module cap rotor
and fuel filter. Then it ran fine the next time I drove
it. Today I took it on a road trip and just randomly it
died on me. I put it in neutral and it starts right back
up again. Did it three times there and three time
back. Any suggestions?

Well I could see that but it dies like it's more of a ignition issue since it just dies without warning. Now spit and sputter anymore. It doesn't act like it's starving or out of gas
