Horn/Steering wheel

I have a 78 chevy k10 and my main
question is how do I get my horn to stop
honking and fix the problem. It all started
when my turn signal switch broke, I fixed
the switch and when I went to put my new
steering wheel on I connected the horn
wire and it just bellowed to the heavens
until I disconnected the positive battery
cable. Then I decided to put the steering
wheel on without the horn wire. So I mean
my steering wheel and turn signal switch
work better than ever but how do I fix my
horn?

You put it back together wrong, the horn contacts must be touching.
