Truck won't start
Engine will turn over but wont spark brand new
distribututor all new spark plugs and new fuel
pump also a new starter... when I turn it over it
spits fuel out of the carb but I can't get a spark
what could be the issue
Is the engine timed correctly? Both ignition and cam timing?
Are the plug wires in the correct place on the distributor cap?
What was all included with the new distributor? The Ignition Control Module, the Coil Pick-up, the coil? But as Bob mentioned, you may have a timing issue, or a firing order issue. If you did not mark the distributor rotor location before taking out the old distributor, It would be possible the distributor is not planted correctly.
When I turn the ignition on it won't, do nothing it won't even turn over nothing.
