how to fix a water pump weep hole for a dodge inteprid year 2004?
If u want to do it right, replace water pump
There is no real fix, the pump must be replaced.
You have to replace the pump !
My husbad already change the water pump and it still leaks a little then how it was before...
Any other recommendations???
If u put a bolt to close the hole would affect the motor? Could water and the oil be mix up together and damage the oil?
I meant damage the motor*
If the new pump is leaking out of the weep hole then the new pump is bad and will have to be taken back off and replaced with another. Was the water a new or rebuilt unit? If it was a rebuilt better try a new one.
Wat u mean about the water new or rebuilt unit?
When you go to a parts store they usually ask you if you want a new or rebuilt one. Rebuilt unit are cheaper than new but can have problems such as what you are having.
Is cause like 2 years ago it started with that problem...and I replace the water pump new and it went away but now it's in the same condition like before and now I saw the water pump still good but only the gasket it was broken and I change that as well and it leaks water still on the same hole...any suggestions?
It's still a bad pump, it should not leak out of the weep hole, I have seen people put small bolts in them but it just delays them having to replace the pump for a little while as then it blows the front shaft seal and usually causes the belt to fly off.
Okay..well I would replace the water pump again and see wat happens... Thank u for ur help tennisshoes.
Have a good day.

Only use the updated Mopar pumps. They make them for both the old and new timing chain design
Only use the updated Mopar pumps. They make them for both the old and new timing chain design. These are redesigned with a much different gasket and heavy bearings
