Question type: Maintenance & Repair

89 350 Chevy TBI issues, one won’t work, switched wires and same one only
works, tested bad injector with 9v battery and it clicks open and close just
fine.

Just cause it clicks doesn’t mean that the pintle is opening, plus that’s also a good way to fry a good injector, they are not designed for full steady voltages only pulses. So if your getting an injector pulse on both sides and no fuel out of one replace the inoperative injector.

Agree on both counts, I was just pulsing it. I checked resistance and faulty injector was 1.1 the other 1.6 (specs 1.3 minimum). For $50 per injector I’ll just replace both. Thanks tennisshoes for quick response.
