Electrical short

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My dodge durango motor cuts out and shorts and
will even die if there is heavy rain or goes threw a
puddle. I know somthing getting wet and shorting
out. Alot to look at .... Looking for a good way to
narrow it down could be somthing very small or
huge ! No distributor cap

Pick a warm dry day, then get a spray bottle of water. Put on mist setting, then spray different components in engine area. I do I all the time. Its probably old and cracked wires around your plugs shorting out. Just b careful where u put or hands, lol. Hope that helps my friend. Let us know what u find!
