fuel gauge is not reading

got a carwash it washed the
undercarriage and tripped the wire
just need to know where the wire is at

wire connector is on top of fuel tank, also another connector yust behind left front wheel well

My Dodge Durango 2004 is reading full. I filled it on Sunday it is now Thursday and it saying that it’s full. What could be the problem.
