How can we know when you don't give conditions, options, mileage or anything else? Being that old even in good shape I would guess about $1,000 on a good day. Make the deal before negotiating the price for a new car as they will add back on what ever they "lost" by giving you more than that.

A dealership will wholesale a car that old off to one of those use car lots due to age, or send it to an auction yard in the area. Put a for sale sign on it and negotiate a price on a new car without a trade- in.
