i have a 2001 ford explorer just replaced the engine with another used engine it cranks but no spark anti thief lite stays on , replacing the engine must of set off anti thief sys how can u reset it

Strange because if only the engine was changed and not the ECU or ignition you should not get 'security" flashing .... try another key if you have one


Was the engine from the same year Explorer. Did you swap out the ECU?


Did you change the PCM from the donor vehicle into your vehicle? If you did that is why the vehicle will not start. The ICU will not recognize it.
