My cj5 is getting fuel through all the lines but stops at the carb and won't start if I prime it it starts for a second but dies it has the inline 6 4.2

I have a 258 6 cyl in my 79 cj and im having a problem with it after it wrms up it backfires and dies sometimes. i had a intakeand carbarator leek but replaced gaskets and no more leaks. any idea what to look at next? it runs great at a cold temp??? 2 Answers

Key ignition works with or without a key. Currently nothing happens when the key is turned. The battery has been replace and so has the starter solenoid. I am able to start the jeep by jumping the...
