confusing Question Christina- was the "inspection" for emissions? I don't get why the "guy" doing the "inspection" should tell you to replace a fuse- then you replaced a relay?- guessing is no good, people must know what they are doing on 21st century cars- more info please- or just take it to a good mechanic

I've seen people use a 12v circuit to power an accessory that seems to do nothing. Often, it's the fuse that powers the Data Communication Link (DLC). If that fuse is blown, scan tools and smog machines can't talk to the car's computer. A better description of the concern would be helpful although, if some "Inspector" is willing to tell you what's he thinks is going on, he should also have offered to repair it (in my opinion).
