Does the PCU have to be programmed at all?

can i remove the old PCU  and install one out of a like vehicle or does it have
to be reprogrammed? what year and models are compatible? I have a 93
Chrysler Concorde 3.3L

If your swapping them, you need to have it programmed. Your local salvage yard/auto recycler can help with matching one that would work.
