31 Model A roadster. Rear spring removal. Spreader mandatory? Alternatives?

If you've got ready replacement components would simply take the air-grinder and remove material from a pin or bolt or whatever is holding up the show and can be easily substituted with an OEM version of this part~ Easier than heatin' to cherry red and whackin'~

Take the time to purchase/rent a rear spring spreader tool, they're very easy to use and much safer than disassembling the spring leaves.
