Whats the max rim and tire size i can go without modification?

i am think 17 inch rims with low profile tires, but will that impair steering capibility?

You can put 18" rims with a low pro tire 235/35 are the biggest tire you can get if your going with the 18". You will have about inch to two inch strut clearance
