97 sebring gas pedal won't move

Asked by Allen Oct 13, 2015 at 10:18 AM about the 1997 Chrysler Sebring

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I posted a few days ago about this
problem. I changed batteries and
had to move the negative ground
afterwards my gas pedal will not
move. I just put the correct battery
back in and moved the ground back
to it's original location and the pedal
will still not move. Any suggestions?

I realy do not think it is battery realated, open the hood and check arould the throttle body for anything that could be out of place and stopping the gas pedal from moving

I can move the throttle manually. There isn't anything blocking the peddle inside or out. I wasn't sure if a ground wire could be the problem. I'm at a loss with this one. Thanks for your reply.

lets isolate this problem, there is throttle body and a throttle cable, disconnect the cable from the T.B. then try the gas pedal if it is still stuck you will have to look into the cable itself.
