Transmission problems?

I need to know how to fix a transmission on 1997 chrysler lhs wont get out of 1st gear
and sometimes it wont go into reverse when i cut the car off and when i crank it up again
it acts normal like nothing happened. Can you tell me what's the problem with my car?

Can not tell you exactly what the problem is but I can recommend something that may help try adding some Lucas Transmission stop leak it not only stops leaks but also lubricants the gears it the transmission for smoother shifting. Sorry can not %100 guarantee you that it will work but it is worth a try.
Question will the sting transmission cause my tramission it's don't work

HELP I HAVE A 2001 LHS 9 MONTHS AGO REPLACED SHIFTER CABLE JAMMED UP JUST GOT OUT OF SHOP FROM GETTIN RACK AN PINION REPLACED 1 WEEK AGO CAR RUNNING GREAT DOES HAVE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT FOR PCM ISSUE WHICH JA ING REPLACED NEXT ONLY HAS 109XXX ON IT BUT WAS DRIVING ON FREE WAY NOTICED LOSS OF SPEED SO PUSHED GAS RPMS JUST WENT UP PULLED OVER noticed WHEN I PUT INTO PARK SHIFTING COLMN WAS LOOSE AS IF CABLE WAS DICONNECTED CAR BEGAN TO ROLL SO EBRAKED IT NO FLUID WAS LEAKING BOUT NOTHING FREE FLOW FROM COLMN LIKE CABLE WASNT CONNECTED GOT IT TOWED NOTICED SOME TRANNY FLUID SLOWLY LEAKED OUT WHOLE I WAS WAITING FOR TOW TRUCK NOT SURE WHERE TO START EVERY1 KEEPS SAYING TRANNY BUT NEVER EVER HAD ANY ISSUES WITH IT WHAT WOULD MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPEN PLEASE HELP I DO LIL BACK YARD MECHANIC STUFF BUT NEVER EVER HEARD OF ANYTJING LIKE THIS SINGLE MOM OF 5 ONLY 2 JOBS NEED THIS VEHICLE BADLY
