My 1997 Chrysler Cirrus Randomly Dies

Asked by Mar 21, 2017 at 10:15 AM about the 1997 Chrysler Cirrus

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

We have run diagnostics on it several times and nothing has turned up. I
got the car in January of 2017 and my mechanic has "fixed" it 10 times. We
have replaced the fuel filter, relay, basically, the entire fuel system and it
still dies. It dies randomly, both when being driven and when idling. It
mainly dies when it's cold but has died after the car has run for a while. I've
heard that people have replaced the MAP sensor, EGR sensor, and the
crankshaft sensor. But some people have just thrown thousands of dollars
at this car and nothing has helped. I'm running out of ideas and we are
running out of money to throw at it.
