Overheating problem

Asked by GuruNBB79 Oct 24, 2019 at 06:59 PM about the 2001 Chrysler PT Cruiser

Question type: General

I have a 2001 p t cruiser and it's running hot not to the red
hot. My over flow is boiling when the temperature gauge
goes up can someone help pleases

Check to make sure the cooling fans are kicking in when temperature is up but if it's not reaching the red, the reservoir might just be too full and it's getting rid of the excess coolant. Make sure coolant level is not above the mark. There's 2 marks, 1 when cold and the higher one when hot since coolant expands as it heats up.
