Hello I have a 2003 Chrysler or cruiser it started
running and I got the thermostate replaced it was
working fine the next day I got in it and started
driving then as I'm driving pressing the gas it
wouldn't accelerate I pulled over out the road and
then it just shut off started smoking and wouldn't
crank

Smoke or coolant steam? If motor shut down on you check it for trouble codes. (If you don't have an OBD code reader most parts shops will pull codes for free). It MIGHT be a case of engine overheating, it may have gone into limp mode before shutting down (explaining why it wouldn't accelerate). However all I can do is guess based on your question, it really needs to be looked at by a mechanic or someone good with cars.
