My upstream o2 sensor has no power I have a fault p0031 and p0037
Could it be a bad ecm
An O2 sensor will only have power on the heater side and it is fused in the fuse box. As both of the codes say there is something wrong with the heater you should start there and then continue with wiring testing. The sensor side generates a small amount of voltage when the engine is running at operational temperature, but it cycles really fast,the best thing to use to see it is a live data scanner.
Not true ^^ chrysler uses a 5 volt bias to their o2 sensors and as they heat up this 5 volts gets pulled down to your typically o2 voltage ranges.. this can be a great diagnostic aid in looking for o2 heater functionality
These o2 sensors are ground side switched by the pcm and its expecting to see 12 volts but the computer is seeing low volts on both upstream heater circuits, id check for a blown o2 heater fuse
