Engine light keeps coming on

Asked by Mar 14, 2019 at 11:14 AM about the 2006 Chrysler 300

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

What does the red lighting bolt mean
when it comes on?

1 Answer

This light means that there is a potential concern with the throttle control. Chrysler recommends you get the vehicle to an Authorized Dealer at your earliest convenience. You could go to a car parts store and have associated codes read to see if this is a miss setting for which you can do a throttle control reset: there are videos/instructions on line that show this simple procedure.
