Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2002 Ford Taurus that will crank but will

and then when you turn it off it will not restart

Would get the obd scanned. My first thoughts are a plugged fuel filter (might be getting some fuel but not enough) or a crank sensor issue. Have you checked the condition of your charging system such as doing a load test? So could be more than one issue.
