Cadillac Deville (96) Turns over,Won't start!

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Have a 1996 Cadillac Deville that's been sitting for
the last five years. Bought a new battery, A new
key and did an oil change. Tried starting the car
and Won't crank. Dashboard is lighting up. Any
suggestions on what to do next,Thanks!

I suspect your car has to "learn" the new key. Not sure what the process is but a local dealer may be a good consult.
