Is a Fiat Grande Punto compliant to USA Emissions standards?

I am thinking of importing my fiance's vehicle and need to know if it is.

yes they are all cars are to the emission becase they sell fiats in the us so you should be good.

Easy there. Just because they've started selling Fiat 500s in the USA doesn't mean your car is gonna comply with their Emissions standards. In fact, even if they sold the very same model over there doesn't mean anything. American and European (or any other region for that matter) cars of the same model have different specs across the world, namely engine-wise. USA laws have traditionally been more strict in this matter, thus European cars sold in the USA usually have different power ratings and emissions. All in all, you should probably try to get some info from a Fiat dealer over in the USA.

Well, just because you don't see it driving around there doesn't mean it's because of its emissions. In this particular case I think it's mostly down to brand and product strategy. I don't see Dodges in most of Europe but that doesn't mean they don't comply to european laws and regulations. Mostly they end up being too expensive when sold here.
